Reflecting on Melissa’s blog…
Fundamental Principles for Humanity
Article 1
Every person,
regardless of gender, ethnic origin, social status, political opinion, language, age, nationality, or religion, has a responsibility to treat all people in a humane way.
After reading over, What about human responsibilities? A universal declaration of....... I found that this particular article had the biggest impact on me. I believe each and every human being, no matter what ethnicity, belief, age or gender, needs to treat and respect others just as they would want to be treated and respected. No one deserves to be treated poorly. Why should it matter what’s ones social status is? Or how much money they make, or even what the color of their skin is? A human is a human that has the right to be treated fairly just like everyone else. Sure people have opinions, but they need to be expressed in a well-mannered and grown up way. The world should be a warm and welcoming environment. Any individual needs to have the ability to live a fair and equal life. By keeping an open mind, being educated, and respectful of others, we should all be able to get along together.
